Monday, June 15
Let's pray for all of the kids at AWANA camp this week to grow in love for God's Word and to rejoice in it 'as one who finds great treasure' according to Psalm 119:162. Pray that this week will be life-changing spiritually for all of them. Pray the Holy Spirit would open their eyes to see wondrous things in God's word and that they would seek Him with all their hearts.

Pray for Pastor Sam that he would in every way make the teaching about God our Savior attractive (Titus 2:10), that he would be humble and authentic in his faith, not given to pride or hypocrisy...that his love would give people great joy and encouragement as he refreshes the hearts of the saints. (Philemon 1:7)

Praise God for transforming Fostala in Burkina Faso from struggling with alcoholism into a faithful father who leads his family in prayer and provides for their needs. Pray Psalm 119:101,103 that God would continue to 'help him to hate every false way and to restrain his feet from every evil way that he may keep God's word.' Pray also that his children would all choose to follow Jesus.

Praise God for the radio distribution among the Pygmy people in Central Africa. Pray that the 249 newly baptized believers grow strong in Christ, delight in Scripture and remain steadfast amid discouragement, persecution and spiritual attack. May the Word of God 'be sweet to their taste, sweeter than honey to their mouths’. Cause them to 'hear God's lovingkindness in the morning and put their trust in Him. Cause them to put their trust in Him and know the way in which they should walk.' Psalm 119:104, 143:8

Friday, June 19
"Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name." Psalm 97:11, 12
Pray for an extra measure of joy today for those you know who may be downhearted for one reason or another. Pray for the light of Jesus to shine into their hearts. Pray that the Holy Spirit would lift their spirits and make them aware of His sweet Presence.

"Blessed are those who fear the LORD, who find great delight in His commands. Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed." Psalm 112:1-2
Let's pray for the fathers and grandfathers we know that they would be encouraged in their faith and would realize how very instrumental they are to their families' spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. Pray that any hurts they've endured from their own fathers or caused in their children's lives would be forgiven and healed. Pray that each one would be loved and honored by their children.
