Tuesday, April 29

China: Pray for a 60-year old couple who left Buddhism to follow Jesus and have led a church for 10 years. Authorities recently seized their church building so they are hosting a church in their home. Pray for their protection : "Save them, O God, by Your name, and vindicate them by Your strength. Hear their prayers, O God; give ear to the words of their mouths." (from Psalm 54:1,2)

Pray for Maria Capuchino, her daughter Carrie, and grandchildren Sawyer and Corbin

Wednesday, April 30

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray for our children, our grandchildren, and our youth today that they may 'hold tightly to what is good and hate what is wrong, that they may be filled with laughter and sing for joy, and that they may be convinced that nothing can ever separate them from Your love. (Romans 12:9, Psalm 126:2, Romans 8:38)

Thursday, May 1

"Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice. He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me." Psalm 55:17,18

Eman, a 12-year old girl from Egypt experienced deep trauma when her family was forced to flee because her father trusted in Christ. A powerful dream led Eman to Jesus, but she needs continued healing. Ask God to fill her and other traumatized youth with an awareness of His loving presence and peace.

Friday, May 2

Pray from Ephesians 5 for the marriages in our church today that all may "live lives of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ" (vs 2 & 21)

Saturday, May 3

"My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise...I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing to You among the nations." Psalm 57:7,9

Nepal:  Stand with Pastor Manoj Pokhrel and his congregation. Their church building was attacked by Hindu extremists chanting, "Hail Lord Ram". Many have stopped attending the church. Pray for courage and steadfastness for all of these believers.
