PRAYER FORCE

"LORD, there is no one like You!

For You are great, and Your name is full of power."

Jeremiah 10:6

 Monday, December 8

As we pray for our pastor and his wife this week, let's use Psalm 5 verses 8 and 12: "Lead them, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of our enemies-- make straight Your way before them. For surely, O LORD, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield."

Pray for Chris & Bethany Hawes, Elizabeth and Zoe and Horn of Africa Ministries

2 Chronicles 8, 3 John 1, Habakkuk 3, Luke 22

Tuesday, December 9

India:  Pray for the Christian community in Odisha State that was violently attacked by 1,500 to 2,000 extremists because they left their tribal faith and trusted Jesus. Pray for complete physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Other Christians are providing urgent relief, prayers, and medical assistance. Pray the persecuted ones will be comforted and strengthened in their faith by this assistance.

"LORD my God, I called to You for help, and You healed me. You turned my wailing into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing Your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise You forever." Psalm 30:2,11,12

Pray for Sam & Maddy Taleis and Cyrus

2 Chronicles 9, Jude, Zephaniah 1, Luke 23

Let's pray for our children today that they will trust in God with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge Him so that He will make their paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-7)

2 Chronicles 10, Revelation 1, Zephaniah 2, Luke 24

Sri Lanka:  Cyclone Ditwah took the lives of at least 366 people and 350 more are still missing. Believers are working to meet immediate needs  and are also getting ready to lead prayer gatherings across the nation. Pray for the establishment of medical camps to treat waterborne diseases that arise and pray that many will discover the hope and salvation found in Christ. Pray that God will bring much eternal good out of this tragedy.

"For He has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; He has not hidden His face from him but has listened to his cry for help." Psalm 22:24

Pray for Bryan & Madison Wozniak, Eleanor and Asher

2 Chronicles 11-12, Revelation 2, Zephaniah 3, John 1

Pray for our AWANA club today: that each one of the children would grow in their faith and in their relationship with Jesus, also that each adult would be filled with the Holy Spirit and used by Him to minister to each other and each child they encounter.

"...He commanded our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds but would keep His commands." Psalm 78:5b-7
