Monday, April 27
Let's ask God to bless Pastor Sam, Bethany and their children this week. Let us pray for Pastor Sam to continue to be strengthened and enabled to continue 'equipping the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ', 'setting an example for the believers in his speech, in love, in faith, and in purity'. (1 Timothy 4)
Pray for Manna House in Oakhurst as they serve the needy in our community.

Tuesday, April 28
Algeria: Nearly every Protestant church has been forced to close and conversion can be risky both for the new convert and those who have shared the gospel. Pray for Algerian believers forced to live their faith out in the shadows, like Kamelia, who asks us to pray for insight, patience and faith as her parents have begun to suspect her. Ask God to give courage and resilient faith to her and other believers like her that they may continue to walk with Jesus despite the risk.
Pray for YWAM Yosemite whose purpose is to know God and make Him known throughout the world.

Thursday, April 30
Libya: Pray for 11 Christian converts recently imprisoned for alleged offenses. Pray for strength and release for these and others sentenced to long prison terms. Pray for the few Christians who live in Libya under constant threat of being discovered.
"For He will deliver the needy when he cries, the poor also, and him who has no helper. He will spare the poor and needy, and will save the souls of the needy. He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; and precious shall be their blood in His sight." Psalm 72:12-14

Saturday, May 2
Mexico: There is a place in Central Mexico called 'The Circle of Silence' because of the high level of persecution there. We are being asked to pray especially for the women there who face rejection and danger and those who are trying to raise their children to follow Christ.
"My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever....But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all Your works." Psalm 73:26, 28
